Mr. Gregory Milbrand, Assistant Superintendent

Mr. Gregory Milbrand, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, began his career at East Pennsboro Area School District as the Supervisor of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment in 2013. He served as the Middle School Principal and Assistant Secondary Principal in the Halifax Area School, eighth grade earth and space science teacher at Central Dauphin East Middle School and elementary classroom teacher at North Side Elementary School prior to working at East Pennsboro. Mr. Milbrand earned his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Master of Education in School Administration, K-12 Principal Certification and Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Shippensburg University. Mr. Milbrand was instrumental in supporting the implementation of the Middle School Response to Intervention and assisting in the re-launch of the elementary Response to Intervention program.  Mr. Milbrand worked with faculty and administration team members to finalize the implementation of the Standards-Aligned Report Cards and Common Assessments among the elementary schools. In 2011, he presented at the Character Plus Network in St. Louis, MO. “I am excited to work collaboratively with Dr. Burkhart, the board of directors, staff, parents, students and community members.  It is my hope to continue to produce excellent students, both in academic excellence and outstanding character development.”
